Impressive Ceremonies Marked Sad Ending of a Useful Life
The funeral of Mr. H. Rodieck took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, from this late residence in the northwest part of the city. Rev. J.W. Sykes of St. Philip's church conducted the service, followed by the beautiful ceremony of the Sons of Herman. Members of that lodge acted as pall-bearers.
The out-of-town members of the family who attended the funeral were: Frank Rodieck, of Longview, Chas. A. and George Rodieck from Tyler, and Mrs. Minnie Armstrong, a daughter, from Marshall.
Interment took place in East Hill cemetery.

Mr. Rodieck was an old and respected citizen, and had for many years conducted a truck and fruit farm in the northwest part of the city. Deceased was the father of Mr. Henry Rodieck, who was killed below Houston a few days ago, by a fellow employee on the I.& G.N.
