HENRIETTA SMASAL GOSSE

Mrs. Walter (Henrietta) Smasal Gosse, 68, of 323 Sixth St., Kiel, died unexpectedly at her home Sunday morning.

The former Henrietta Stueven was born Feb. 4, 1913, in New Holstein, a daughter of the late Henry and Alma Eichmeier Stueven. She graduated from Kiel High School. On Sept. 26, 1936, she married Edwin Smasal in Kiel. He died March 9, 1969. Mrs. Smasal married Walter Gosse Aug 1, 1975 in Kiel.

She was employed at Riverside Grocery, Kiel, and the Kiel Woodenware Co. Mrs. Gosse was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, its Women's Guild, and the GUG Germania Society, of which she served as treasurer.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Darlene) Kornetzke, of Grafton, and Mrs. Herbert (Rosemary) Vogel, rural Elkhart Lake; three sons, Kenneth, of rural Kiel, Richard of New Holstein, and Allen of Kiel; 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter United church of Christ, Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
