Mrs. Angela Huebner, 74, of Forest Junction, a public school teacher for 36 years, died Thursday, Oct. 5, at Appleton Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for six weeks.

The former Angela Domke was born Nov. 8, 1903 in the town of New Holstein, a daughter of Edward and Kathy Stueven Domke. She attended the district school and graduated from New Holstein High School. She also attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, the Outagamie Rural Normal School, Kaukauna, and the Oshkosh State Teachers College, where she received a B. S. degree.

She taught at rural schools in Calumet County, eighth grade at Combines Locks and the sixth grade at Neenah.
On Dec. 31, 1940, she was married to Samuel A. Huebner in the town of New Holstein.
The couple resided at Forest Junction their entire married Lives where they operated the Huebner Implement Works.

Mr. Huebner died Dec. 6, 1977. She sold the business in March 1978. Mrs. Huebner was a member for 40 years and past present of the Eaton ladies’ Aid Society, a 50 year member of the Royal Neighbors of America and a member of the Delta Cappa Gamma Omicion Chapter for 20 years. She was also a past member of the American Cancer Society, state and local teachers’ association, the first chairman of the town of Brillion Community Fund campaign and a former Sunday school teacher at the First Presbyterian Church, Kiel.

Survivors include a brother, Howard, New Holstein. Another brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, the Rev. Mark R. Swanson, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, officiating. Burial was in the Eaton Cemetery, town of Eaton.
