Cora Mabel Reinecke 83, entered into rest on May 8, 2009, at the Manor Care Center in Dallastown. She was the wife of Joseph E. Reinecke, her husband of 63 years.

Cora was born March 25, 1926, in Crossroads Boro, and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Edith (nee Hyson) McAllister.

Cora, and her husband were the owners and operators of Reinecke Real Estate in York. She was a member of the Yorkshire United Methodist Church and a member of the Sunday School Class. She was also involved with the York Farm Women's Association. Cora enjoyed cooking, gardening, and had a talent for canning food items for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed time with her family relaxing in Little Pine Creek in Lycoming County at Happy Acres Campground.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Carolyn Bauman and her husband, John, Joseph Reinecke, Jr., Dennis Reinecke and his wife, Jocelyn, Christine Staats and her husband, Robert, and Brian Reinecke; grandchildren, Samantha and Mitchell Lauer, Ariana Ozga-Reinecke, and Emily and Megan Staats; siblings, Harold McAllister and his wife, Louise, Roy McAllister and his wife, Ruth, Jean Doll, and Lois Zellers and her husband, Marlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth Rehmeyer, Ruth Stitely, and John McAllister.

Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
