William Koeppe, aged 48 years, former well known carpenter contractor at Sheboygan Falls, died on Mon. at his home at Shawano of Bright's disease. He left the Falls only six weeks ago.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anton Schnur at Sheboygan Falls, Rev. J. Biehusen, pastor of the St. Paul's Lutheran church, officiating. Burial was to have been made in the Falls cemetery.
Mr. Koeppe was born in the town of Holland and on Sept. 21, 1889 he was married to Miss Lucy Heiden, of the town of Wilson. About ten years ago the family moved to the Falls where Mr. Koeppe followed carpentry and general contracting. His last work there was the erection of the St. Paul's Lutheran church.
The survivors are a widow and nine children: Mrs. Fred Blank, Mrs. Fred Keller, Mrs. Anton Schnur, Alvin, Edwin, William, Lucy, Esther and Amanda. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ertman Koeppe of the town of Holland, seven brothers, Herman, of Denver CO; Frank, Reedsville; Fred, Sheboygan; Robert, Henry and Edwin of Cedar Grove; Ferdinand of Oostburg; and three sisters, Mrs. Herman Grasser, Sister Bay; Mrs. George Stirdivant, town of Wilson; Mrs. Clarence Stirdivant, Sheboygan; also survive.
