Mrs. Meta A. Keller, 81, a former Sheboygan Falls resident, widow of Fred C., died in Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Thurs. after a brief illness.
A resident of Tamarack House in Sheboygan for the past two years, the former Meta Koeppe was born Nov. 5, 1891 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late William and Louise Heiden Koeppe.
She was married to Mr. Keller on June 24, 1911 in Sheboygan. He died Dec. 29, 1969.
Mrs. Keller was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Sheboygan Falls, its Martha Esther Circle and Women's Society and the Homemakers Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Janette) Nesemann of Baraboo; two sons, Raymond and Fred, both of Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Otis Kind of Sheboygan and Mrs. William Syring of Menasha and a brother, Edwin Koeppe of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by a son, four sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Mon. at Huehns Funeral Home, Sheboygan Falls, with Rev. John McBeth, pastor of Faith Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sun., until the time of services.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Keller's name for Faith Church.
