Mrs. Grace Green Wright, 83, of 112 Shull Street, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Peak Resources, formerly Century Care.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Augustus Martin and Naomi Blanton Green. She was a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence W. Wright; three brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by her three sons, Richard Wright, Donald Wright and his wife, Gail, and Michael Wright, all of Shelby; a daughter, Sheila Wright Grigg and her husband, Hal, of Fallston; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 18, 6 to 7:30 p.m.., at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Donald Wright, 862 E. Zion Church Road, Shelby.
