Conchetta Macias Tracy, age 79 of Pensacola, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be remembered for being such a special grandmother. Mrs. Tracy was a graduate of Sacred High School in Hattiesburg, MS, and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Justus C. Tracy, Jr.; parents, Frank and Elena Alvarez Macias; brothers, Raphael Macias, Jimmy Macias, and Alfred Macias; and sister, Mary Macias. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Sanders (Jim); son, Justus Calvin Tracy IV; grandchildren, Linda Krentz (Jake) and David Sanders; sister, Frances Boykin; special nieces and nephew Linda Allbritton (Griff), Anna Boykin, and Scott Boykin (Diana); and many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Father Eugene Casserly officiating. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23.
