George Erhart, 66, of Centerville, Iowa, formerly of Springfield, died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at VA Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.
He was born March 13, 1932, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of George Adam and Grace McCracken Erhart.
Mr. Erhart owned and operated Electri-craft for many years, which was an electrical contracting business in Centerville, Iowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War from 1952-54. He also was a member of the VFW in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Survivors: two daughters,; two granddaughters; a sister, Dorothy Wernecke of Springfield.
Services: Schmidt Family Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa. Graveside services: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
