William Leonard Davis
William Leonard Davis, a former Vice President of the Press Publishing Company, The New York World, and a brother of Mrs. Joseph Pulitzer died yesterday at Tucson, Arizona where he had been ill for the last two weeks. Mrs. Davis and her son were with him when he died. For many years Mr. Davis had extensive mining interests in Colorado and made his home at Colorado Springs. During his residence in New York he was an aide-de-camp on the staff of Governor Flower. He moved to the West upon his marriage in 1894. Mrs. Davis was Mattie Thompson of Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Philip Thompson for many years a member of Congress from Kentucky. Mr. Davis will be buried at Washington, D.C.
