He married Margaret Elizabeth Lenz March 31, 1918 in Lovell, Wyoming. She preceded his in death on August 26, 1974. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovell, Wyoming.
He is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Basnett of Lovell, Virginia Fink of Lovell, and Sylvia Spaulding of Afton, Wyoming; three sons, Bert Winterholler of Lovell, Melvin Winterholler of Basin, and Edwin Winterholler of Powell, Wyoming; a sister, Mrs. Henry Fink of Powell, Wyoming; 27 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. One son, Ralph and one sister, Mrs. John Wagner preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27 at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovell, Wyoming under the direction of Rev. Floyd Schweiger. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
