She is survived by daughters Sandra Travis and Mary Comte; step daughter Claudia Orum; sons in law Allen Orum and Wayne Beamer; brothers William and Howard Bowman; sisters in law Shirley Nelson, Isabel Bowman and Dorothy Hryhorchuk; grandchildren: Brenda Hamm, Scott Knowles and Lorena Lee; great grandchildren: Kristen Rathjen, Alan Rathjen, Mallorie Rathjen, Leigh Ann Rathjen, Austin Lee, Christopher Lee and Alexander Lee; nieces: Carole Kreger, Barbara Bernauer, Wendy Baker and Tracy Baker; nephews: Joe Gillis and Matthew Korczynski. Preceded in death by husband, Henry Otto Machocky (1922-2001).
Visitation will begin at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2004, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 20th in the Main Chapel of the funeral home.
Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (800-ACS-2345).
