She was graduated from Braggadocio high school in May, 1927, and attended a business college in Memphis. For more than 25 years she had been employed as bookkeeper at Caruthersville Building Material Company, continuing there up to the time of her death. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Formerly married to Richard Roland, several years ago at Piggott, Ark., she was married to Leon Scott, who survives. She also leaves her mother; a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline Weigand of Wiesbaden, Germany; and a son, Rick Roland of this city.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church Friday afternoon, October 18, with the Rev. James M. Blanton, assisted by Floyd V. Brower and Rev. James D'Wolk, officiating. Burial was in Maple cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.
