Pvt. Peter Kubina
The body of Private Peter Kubina, Jr., 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kubina of Grindstone, R.D., who was killed in action in Italy in 1944, has been returned to his home for reburial. Besides his parents, the soldier is survived by three brothers, Joseph at home and Paul and John Kubina of Grindstone, R.D., and two sisters, Julia of New York City and Mildred Kubina at home.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon with a prayer at the home at 2 o’clock. Additional rites will be in St. Nicholas G.C. Church at Brownsville. Interment will be in the church cemetery under direction of Ira Blair & Sons of Perryopolis.
