He was born Sept. 16, 1939 In Plymouth, son of the late H. Timm Leverenz and Irene Lutz Leverenz. Tlmm graduated from New Holstein High School, with the class of 1958. He was a correspondent for the Sheboygan Press for a number of years. He was a dispatcher for the St. Anna Veterinary Clinic. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein, a former secretary-treasurer of the New Holstein Association of Commerce, former executive secretary of the New Holstein Community Chest and was named Distinguished Citizen by the New Holstein Association Chamber of Commerce In the early 1 970's.
Survivors are his mother, Irene, New Holstein; one brother, Jon (Janet) Leverenz, Glenview, III.; also survived by one niece, Susan (Howard) Stearn and nephew, David E. Leverenz, both of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his father, Feb. 16,1 974. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, at St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein, with the Rev. James Werner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in New Holstein City Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services, Saturday, at the church.
