Mrs. Dora Loose, widow of Theodore Loose and mother of Mrs. Frank Brotz, Ridge court, Kohler, died today at the Brotz home, after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Loose was born in Berlin, Germany, on November 9, 1860, and came to America with her brother, August, in 1882, locating in Fond du Lac. Shortly after that she was united in marriage with Theodore Loose and the couple moved to Hayton. Mr. Loose died eleven years ago. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Loose has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Brotz.
Those who survive are four children; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Brotz and three sons, Theodore Loose of Appleton; William of Westfield, Wisconsin, and Louis Loose of Kohler. Sixteen grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Loose was a kind and loving mother and her death is being mourned by a large circle of friends.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning from the Frank Brotz residence. Rev. E. A. Katterhenry of Grace Reformed church, Kohler, will officiate and interment will be made in the cemetery at New Holstein.
