Mrs. Locey was a lifelong resident of this vicinity. The former Josephine Viertel was born in Cranmoor July 23, 1901, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Viertel. Her marriage to Edward Locey took place at Vesper on Oct. 16, 1923.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Edward Jr. and James, at home; two daughters, Mrs. HEnry Christopherson, Racine, and Mrs. Kenneth Martin, Wisconsin Rapids; three brothers, Herman and Albert Viertel, Berlin, and Edward Viertel, Dubuque, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Nick Grelliinger, Racine, and 11 grandchildren.
Mrs. Locey was a member of the Altar Society of St. Joseph’s Church. Friends may call at the Ritchay Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Friday. The Altar Society will join in a general rosary at 8 p.m. Friday.
