Betty Winn, 78, of Fredonia, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at 10:30 p.m. at Christian Care Center in Kuttawa, following a long illness.
Born April 24, 1933, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Rev. Clem and Lela Freeman Blackburn, she was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floy Winn; a sister, Dorothy Reid; three brothers, Jack Blackburn and two infant brothers; a grandchild, Tenille Winn; and two great-great-grandchildren, Eli and Kaiden gill.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Trish Winn and Marty and Kathy winn, all of Fredonia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Danny York of Fredonia and Tracy and Gerry Crowley of Auburn, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, James A. and Ann Blackburn of Marion; a sister, Idabelle Riley of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Danny York officiating, assisted by the Rev. Rich Gardner.
Burial will follow in Asher Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
