Chilton: Mrs. John Schabel, 82, died at her home on Spring St. late Wednesday afternoon after a short illness. The deceased, whose maiden name was Margaret Wicklein, was born at St. Cloud, Fond du Lac Co.
About sixty years ago she was married to Mr. Schabel, and shortly after they moved to this city, where they resided continuosly with the exception of one year, which they spent in Milwaukee.
Mr. Schabel died about twenty years ago. Surviving are seven children, Mrs. John Esser (Margaret) of Villa Park, Ill.; rs. E. Zeidler (Eve) of Marshfield; William of Egg Harbor City, N.J.; Carl of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Mrs. N. H. Feltes (Helen) of Chicago; Mrs. J. Russell (Martha) of Los Angeles, Calif; and Mrs. John Kautzer (Anna) of Chilton. There is also one brother, John Wicklein of Jericho.
The funeral will be held from St. Mary church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, th service to be conducted y Rev. E. H. Hunck. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery.
