Obituary - Waukesha Freeman - March 24, 1958

Charles P. Kern

Charles P. Kern, 74, died suddenly at his home last night at 139 Wisconsin av.
He was a farmer for many years, retiring about three years ago. He formerly worked at Brook Hill farm west of Waukesha.
Kern was a member of First Evangelical and Reformed church.
Survivors are his wife, Amanda; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Wilcox, Waukesha, two grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Wehren, Mrs. R. S. Witte and Mrs. Lydia Sayles, all of Waukesha.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Randle funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Ley, pastor of First Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Home cemetery.
The body will be in state after 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Randle funeral home.
