" Mrs. Agnes (Vossen) Hammer of St. Louis died there November 2, 1976. She was 87 years old. A native of the Fiat community near Linn, Mrs. Hammer was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Vossen. Her husband Julius H. Hammer preceded her in death.
One brother, Robert Vossen of Linn; and a sister Mrs. Matilda Manley of St. Louis survive, along with a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Otto Brown, three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 5, at St. Agnes Church in St. Louis. Burial was in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery there."
