Julia Wenzel Born Posen, Prussia; Immigrated 1867. Married Gustav Sakewitz March 3, 1898 in Travis County, Texas.∼Julia Wenzel immigrated to Texas from Germany as a small child after her mother passed away. She was raised by her brother Louie Wenzel. Julia married Gustav Sakewitz in 1878 and they raised their 12 children in Richland, Texas. Their descendants will celebrate their 72nd Annual Sakewitz Reunion in June 2018 in Beyersville, Texas.
