Mrs Henry Hinther, wife of Jordan's veteran shoe cobbler, passed away at noon May 18 at their home in Jordan after seven months of suffering from the dreaded disease cancer. She was well known throughout the county, and her friends knew her as a devoted wife and mother. Interment was made in the cemetery near the Hinther schoolhouse west of town. Many of her friends came to pay their last tribute to their long known friend.
