For many years, Bennet Spier's grave was marked with a native stone. My brother. Bill Hearon, knew which one it was because he married Bennet's great granddaughter, Sandra Spier, and had accompanied her father, Jeremiah Spier there on one or more occasions. Upon searching for it today, I found that since my last trip to this cemetery many years ago, someone has erected a nice marker. It is very hard to read being etched on some type of white material, but it is a nice, hopefully, lasting marker.
