James R. Ryan, 43, Dies of Pneumonia

James R. Ryan, Rochester plumber for 18 years and more recently engaged in business for himself, died last night of pneumonia following an operation of two weeks ago. He was 43 years old and resided at 1306 Second street SE.
Mr. Ryan was born in Rochester September 30, 1890, and always made his home in the city. On June 23, 1930, he ws married to Valeria Cisewsky of Winona. They have two children, Eleanor Marie and Nancy Lee, both surviving with the wife and mother, and Mr. Ryan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ryan of Rochester. Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters. They are John, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Macken, Eugene, Herbert, Dolores, Gerald and Fabian, all of Rochester.
Mr. Ryan recently opened the Rochester Liquor Supply store at 12 Fourth street SW., where he has since engaged in business.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 9 a.m., at St. John's church, followed by interment in St. John's cemetery. The body will be at the Ryan home after 4 p.m., today.
