Mr. Becker, 90, died Friday. Born in Cass Lake, Minn., he worked as a saw filer for J. Neils Lumber Co. In 1927 the company moved to Libby and he helped establish the new mill.
Mr. Becker moved to Palouse many years ago.
He married Annie Paulson in 1929. She died in 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Waldo of Palouse; three granddaughters and two greatgrandchildren.
