Mrs. Michael Wittkowski, route 2, Foley, died Wednesday morning. She was born in St. Cloud Nov. 18, 1893, the former Augusta Becker. She married Michael Wittkowski at Cass Lake in 1912. They came to the Foley area in 1915 and farmed in Gilman township.

She was a member of the Ladies aid and St. John's Lutheran church, Popple Creek.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Leo, Foley; Mrs. George Wolf (Lorraine), St. Cloud; Lauren, St. Cloud; and Merlyn at home. There are five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are her sister and two brothers: Mrs. Gust Steindorf, Klickitat, Wash.; Albert and Joseph Becker, Libby, Mont.

Friends may call at the Foley funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran church, Poppie Creek, Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. G. Hinz will officiate. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
