Services for Mrs. Kuempel
Funeral services for Mrs. John (Hildegard) Kuempel, 75, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. ___ Manternach conducting the services. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Pallbearers were the following persons: Tim, Michael, Pat, ____ and Danny Kuempel, and ______ Dunn. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Leonard Hartman, Mrs. ___rich, Mrs. M. A. Merkel, Mrs. Clarence Saeugling, Mrs. _____ Smith and Mrs. Cynthia ___man.
Mrs. Kuempel died Tuesday ____ing, Dec. 19, in the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital from a heart condition.
Hildegard M. Kuempel, the daughter of Bernard and Helena Tieke Lake, was born in Guttenberg, August 19, 1897. She was married June 14, 1920, at Guttenberg to John T. Kuemple, who survives.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. A. C. (Kathleen) Dunn of Euless, Texas, Sister Clara Mae, F.S.P.A. of ______, Wis., Mrs. Cyrenus (____) Elsinger of Guttenberg; three sons, Robert, James and Thomas, all of Guttenberg; 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Bernice), Tillia of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Don (Helen) Meder of Guttenberg; and one brother, Al J. Lake of Guttenberg.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons, John and Bernard, and an infant daughter, Mary Margaret; one granddaughter and two brothers.
The Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
