Frank Shallenberger, 63, custodian of the Broad Building Broad and Chestnut-sts, died unexpectedly this morning from a heart attack. Mr Shallenberger was stricken at his home 140 1/2 East Main St.and rushed to the Lancaster Hospital where he expired at 10:15 a.m., shortly after being admited. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Mt. Pleasnt Lodge. Surviving are his widow Mary; Three daughters; Mrs.Harold Shipley; and Mrs. Hazel Taisey; all of Lancaster and Mrs. Laverne Brown, of Oakharp O.; five grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Nettie Kerns, Lancaster and Mrs.Lois Evans, Columbus. Funeral servives will be held Friday, 2 p.m. in the Ray Wise funeral home with the Rev. George W. Heard, First Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral hone after 7 p.m. Wendesday.
