Barbara Lerch Illgen died, Wednesday, July 26, 1933, at St. Mary's hospital at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 11 days.
In 1882 she was united in marriage to John Lerch, of Windsor, and in 1892 they moved to North Bristol. Her husband preceded her in death on May 26, 1907.
Her second marriage to Nick Illgen, was October 14, 1914, and they lived on the farm in Bristol township until six years ago, when they moved to North Bristol. Besides her husband, she is survived by four children: John Lerch, Hampden; Mrs. Agnes Clary, Mrs. Wm. Klubertanz, Sun Prairie; and Bernard Lerch, Milwaukee; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Tuschen, preceded her in death in 1921. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, 3 sisters, Mrs. Frank Mirgeler, Mrs. Frank Palmershein, Milwaukee; Mrs. Howard Johnson, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Oscar Heisig, preceded her in death; seven brother, Joe and John Kepke, Canada; Frank, Washington; Henry, Greenwood, Wis; Charles, Pewaukee; Will and Ed preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 oclock, Saturday morning, July 29 from St. Joseph's church, East Bristol, Rev. Father Lehwald officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph cemetery, East Bristol. Pall bearers were three grandsons, Bob Tuschen, Lester Klubertanz and Henry Moy, Henry Pfaff, Otto and Henry Schroud. Ted Tuschen grandson, conducted the funeral.

Haulthusen, Bernard Lerch, Frank Mirgeler, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Mirgeler and family, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kepke and two daughter, Pewaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scheblak and daughter, Delores, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Steidtman and mother, Sauk City; Mr. and Mrs. Arnie Pribbinow and daughter, Elizabeth, Helen Tuschen, Agnes Wernick, Mrs. James Harrison and son, James, Tracy Illgen, Henry Illgen, daughter and son and family, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. L. Diedrich, Waunakee; Mr. and Mrs. C. Starten, Poynette; Mr. Oscar Heisig, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Heisig and family, Windsor; Mr. and Mrs. J. Mushauser, Madison, and a host of other friends.
