Eunice - Funeral services for Lillian Meaux, 86, will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church of Eunice, with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Meaux died Friday, Dec. 14, at her son's residence in Lafayette, after a long illness.
Visitation will be observed 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday at Quirk and Son Funeral Home. A
rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, an 8 a.m. until service on
Tuesday.
Survivors include: three sons, Lawrence "Larry" Edgar and his wife Estella Meaux of
Singapore; Clayton and wife Delores Meaux of Lafayette, and Carl and wife Llona Meaux
of Duluth, Georgia; one daughter, Jeanne and husband Mike Ardoin or Richard; two
brothers, Ira and Allen Gus Miller, both of Eunice; one sister, Mrs. Harry "Joyce"
McCauley of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, three
step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents I.E. and Helena Christ Miller; her husband, L.
Edgar "Peg" Meaux; two brothers, Ivan and Henry Miller; four sisters, Nettie Millerm, Ina
Wafer, Helen Defrosier, and Irene Peterson; and one son-in-law Henry Reinhardt.
