Survivors: daughters, Patricia Adams of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Emma "Lou" Tamm of Vero Beach, Virginia "Tootsie" Holdorff of Chipley; brother, R.N. Upthegrove of West Palm Beach; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
