Edgar Robert Daubert
Edgar Robert Daubert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Daubert, was born June 18, 1904, at Hillsboro, Kans., died February 10, 1924, age 19 years and 9 months.
Edgar came to Oklahoma with his parents February 8, 1905. He grew to young manhood here, living in Carnegie a number of years and later living on the farm just south of town. At the time of his death he was a senior in Carnegie high school. Edgar was one of those quiet, unassuming boys who was always dependable. He was of strong physique, and was a powerful man on the football team and the wrestling mat, but a slight injury kept him out of athletics.
Edgar was baptized at the age of 4 years in the Lutheran church at Hillsboro. Besides the father and mother he leaves three brothers, Fred, Jr., Charles of Oklahoma University, and Ralph; and two sisters, Mrs. A.L. Tucker of Los Angeles, and Odelia. All of the family were present at the funeral except Mrs. Tucker.
