Last Services Held For Walter Ortlepp
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Peace Reformed church, Potter, for Walter Ortlepp, 51, who passed away at his home in the town of Rantoul last Thursday after a brief illness. The Rev. E. L. Worthman, Kiel, officiated and burial was made in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ortlepp, he was born in the town of Rantoul on Sep 21, 1894. On Oct. 5 1916, he married Miss Rose Beil at the Peace Reformed Church at Potter. The couple settled on the farm in the township where they have since resided. Mr. Ortlepp owned and operated the Ortlepp gravel pit in Rantoul town.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Hinz, Rantoul town, and Mrs. Arno Klug, Appleton; and one brother, Arnold, of Rantoul town.
