She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Maria Stein, to the late Aloys Walterbusch and the late Katherine (Luebke) Walterbusch.
She married Leo J. Pohlman on June 10, 1941, in Coldwater.He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1979.
She is survived by her children, Edward and Darlene Pohlman, of Maria Stein; Robert and Martha Pohlman, of Maria Stein; Marlene and David (Pohlman) Lehmkuhl, of Minster, Charlotte and William (Pohlman) Hansen, of Kettering; brothers and sister, Louis and Helen Walterbusch, of Coldwater; Mary Helen Rose, of New Bremen; William and Katherine Walterbusch, of Coldwater; sister-in-law, Virginia Walterbusch; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Walterbusch, a brother-in-law, Raphael Rose; and a grandchild.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, and its St. Ann's Ladies Sodality, the Knights of St. John Auxiliary and its Uniform Rank, all in Maria Stein, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Minster and the Community Hospital Sewing League.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Gene Schnipke officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
