Monday, 7 May 1945 St. Joseph paper:

Mrs. Julia Neher, 83 years old, died this morning at the home of a sister, Mrs. Lulu Pyne, three miles north of Agency. She was born at Milan, Mo., but had spent the greater part of her life in Buchanan County. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Effie McClain, Joplin, Mo., two sons, Clarence Ballard, St. Joseph and Tom Ballard of the state of Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Dyer and Mrs. Emma Weakley, both of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Pyne, and three brothers, Nova Walter, Lucrine (Lucerne) Mo.; John Waller, Deep Water, Mo., and Ira Waller, Agency. The body is at the H. A. Sullins funeral home in Gower pending funeral arrangements.

Services for Mrs. Julia Neher, who died yesterday a the home of a sister, Mrs. Lulu Pyne, three miles north of Agency, will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Agency Methodist Church. The Rev. G. T. Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery.
