Mrs. Henrietta Henschel, 83, of 513 6th St., Kiel, died at St. Nicholas Hospital Monday evening. She was taken to the hospital a few hours earlier after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.
The former Henrietta Fluhr was born in the Town of Schleswig on March 15, 1882, a daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Fluhr, attended district schools, and was married to John Henschel of Kiel on June 27, 1903. The couple settled in Kiel following their marriage.
Mrs. Henschel was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Kiel, Women's Guild of the church, Royal Neigbors Lodge of Kiel, and the local Sewing Circle.
Her husband died in October, 1949.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Eleanor) Wendling and Mrs. Joseph (Geraldine) Klaeser, both of Kiel; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Linda Kriegelstein of Milwaukee, Mrs. Fred Steffen of Wausau, and two brothers, Edwin Fluhr of rural New Holstein, and John of Chilton.
