MENDENHALL.—On the 31st of 7lh mo., 1872, at his residence in Marion County, Indiana, Joseph Mendenhall, in the 85th year of his age ; a member of Fairfield Monthly Meeting, and one of the first settlers in this part of the western country. Although his death was very sudden, yet we are not without a trust that he is now enjoying that rest our Lord has prepared for all those that love him.
