VELMA IRENE VINCENT KNOTT, 78, of Lake Clough Nursing Home, Kuttawa, died Saturday, June 1, 1996, at Lourdes Hospital, Paducah. She was born in Daviess County and was a homemaker and member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church, Panther. Her husband, James Martin Knott, died in 1964. Survivors include a son, James Wayne Knott of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; three daughters, Patricia Gail Wyatt and Beverly Diane Morris, both of Owensboro, and Mary Linda Gossett of Kuttawa; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Evans of Owensboro. Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home Chapel, where a Remembrance Service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Browns Valley. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
