Mrs. Anna Backofen died yesterday afternoon at the home
of the family at 73 Grand Street. The cause was consumption
of which she was a sufferer for some time. She was the wife
of Julius Backofen and was 29 years old.
The funeral will take place Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the
house.
