Robert Emmett Morrison was born in the city of Earlham (Madison County) Iowa on the 18th of December 1911. His parents were Clyde and Molly Morrison. Robert and his family moved to Lancaster, California around 1914 were his parents tried their hand at farming. After trying to farm for two years the family moved to Glendale California where Robert and his brother Marion attended school. After graduating high school Robert was briefly employed as a lifeguard and then worked in the movie industry a job he landed after big brother Marion had become famous as the actor John Wayne.
Robert passed away on the 25th of July 1970 at St.Joseph's hospital in Burbank, California. Services were held at Scovern Funeral Home in Glendale. He was survived by his wife Patricia Morrison, Brother Marion and many Nieces and Nephews.
