Mary Patricia Harbert Morrison Compton. Born to Edward and Ruth Harbert. Pat, as she was known led quite an interesting life. She always used to repeat her Aunts words "Ompate' my tish and poof your chimminey mines". Or "Jump up on my lap and take off your shoes." Her Aunt used to say that to Pat when Pat was a young girl. Her first marriage was to Robert Emmett Morrison on December 3, 1955 in Los Angeles. Robert worked in the film industry as a Producer. Pat worked with him as an assistant. They did not have any children. Oh, the stories Pat would tell of her life with Robert Morrison and his brother John Wayne. After Robert died of Cancer, Pat married Henry Compton. Henry worked in the film industry, as well. Pat was a wonderful and feisty lady. She was an interesting character and a star in my mind. She will be remembered dearly.
