Buried at the Masonic Cemetery on Carter & South Henry Street in Farmington, Magdalene "Lena" was the daughter of John M. & Elizabeth (nee Zimmer) Karsch and one of twelve children. Lena & her sister Emma both graduated from the Missouri Baptist Sanitarium School of Nursing which both dedicated their life and neither married.
