Mrs. Vanden Bosch Succumbs at 85

Mrs. Jacob (Gertrude) Vanden Bosch, 85, of 381 East Eight Street, died early this morning at Gleenwood Christian Nursing Home in Lamont following an extended illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Vanden Bosch have been Holland residents for the past 45 years. She was a member of Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Koenie Vanden Bosch of Zeeland; two daughters, Mrs. Gerrit (Hattie) Vander Hulst of Holland and Mrs. Jacob (Katie) Slagh of Borculo; 24 grandchildren; 71 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Martin Wierda of Sioux Center, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Katie Overkamp of Holland; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Folkert Wierda of Zeeland, Mrs. John Wierda and Mrs. Ben Wierda, both of Holland.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1;30 p.m. at the Dykstra Funeral Chapel with burial in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the Dykstra Chapel Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
