Barbara Broda Strick was a Hungarian immigrant who lived and died in Cleveland, Ohio. She was poor and hard working. Her children loved her deeply and they were devoted to her. She was a strong woman. She had the misfortune of having to bury one of her sons. She lived to see her great-grandchildren. Her death was tragic to her children. They loved her even in death. Now her children are gone, too. I am determined not to let the memory of such a person fade away with time.
