She was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Woodland Township, to Frank and Ella (McNeely) Bronder.
Anne attended and graduated from Montrose High School.
She was a lifelong resident of the Delano area, and a lifelong member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church. Anne was active in her church when she was able, and loved being a part of church community.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anne was a homemaker, and also worked outside of the home, being employed at Green Giant and the Delano Flower Farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine "Val;" siblings John, Leo, and Joe Bronder, Emily Vossen, Margaret Babatz, and Mary Janikula; and a son-in-law Marlyn Tonsberg.
Anne is survived by her daughters, Delores Tonsberg, Barbara (Donald) Berens, Shirley (Gordon) Marquette, Sandra (Bruce) Ostenson, Linda Czech, and Rita (Paul) Christiansen; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, Oct. 10 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church in Delano, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. At the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, with a 7 p.m. Prayer service; and continued Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the Mass.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
