Maria Treml, 104, of Aurora, passed away Monday, October 23, 2000, at her home. She was born August 10, 1896 in Mezofalva (Hercegfalva) Hungary.
Maria was a long time member of St. Therese Church and a member of the St. Elizabeth Hungarian Club.
Survivors include her sister, Thersia Muller of Germany; her children, Stephen Treml of Hungary, Mary (Anton) Racs of Aurora, Sister Katharina Treml of Germany & Theresa Pable of Aurora; nine grandchildren, Erika (Zoltan) Szatmari, Elizabeth (Bernie) Nickels, Henry (Mary) Pable, Anton Pable, Mary Racs, Bertha Pable, John Pable, Elizabeth (James) Mallie & Katharina (David) Mattice; twelve great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Nickels, Zoltan Szatmari, Christopher Pable, Michael Nickels, Steven Pable, Angela Nickels, Brittany Pable, Marcus Mattice, Brandie Mattice, Andrew Pable, Brooke Pable and Theresa Mallie; and one great-great-grandchild, Edina Szatmari.
Funeral from The Daleiden Lake St. Mortuary, Thursday, October 26, 2000, at 11:30 AM to St. Therese Church at 12:00 PM. Fr. Leo Petit, M.S.C. will officiate with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
