Henry befriended his niece Anna Jacobs' husband,CWJ Alexander, (my grandfather) and helped him file a homestead claim in Nebraska.
Henry died 29 July 1893 in Kearney.(Accord.to his wife Antoinette Kennedy's application for a widow's pension)He had fallen and was found in his dooryard in an unconscious condition, with a paralytic stroke.
