Mrs. Ilens was known as the favorite cook of the Phillies press corps and had been with the press club and office kitchen staff since the stadium opened about 15 years ago.
born in Hagen, West Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Helene Schliepkorte Siebert.
Mrs. Ilens came from Germany in 1955 and lived in Philadelphia until moving to her Lansdale home in 1972.
She was a Catholic.
Surviving are her husband, Oskars J.; a daughter, Hannerl Goosmann and son Uwe Roehrig, both of Solingen, Germany; two granchildren; and three sisters, Helen Meinhardt and Magaret Dannhauser, both of Hagen, Germany, and Irene Paulmann of Dahl, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilhelm Roehrig.
