Charlotte was a homemaker and a cake designer. She was the daughter of the late Lester Hage and the late Leah (Baie) Hage.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Dawn and Jim Swenson of Salem, Ill., and Cheryl and Ward Hearn of Somonauk, Ill.; sons and their spouses, Kevin and Ann Dienst and Kim Dienst of Hardy; brother, Gene Hage of Sandwich, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her friend and companion, Harold DuBien.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dienst, and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons; Kal Dienst, Gary Dienst, Kenny Dienst, Phillip Swenson, Kris Swenson, Keith Hearn, Aaron Hearn and Bryce Hearn.
Funeral service were held in Heath Oak Hill Chapel. Brother Floyd Rikard is officiating, and a special friend, Bonnie Sweet, sang.
Interment was at Baker Cemetery in Ozark Acres.
